7th workout in 8 days – catching up

Lockdown was hard for many of us. And it may not be over yet, but I’m doing the best I can with what I’ve got… and that is catching up on the gym time.

I’ve been working out at home for 4 months, since this is how long the gyms were closed in my area, and some weeks I did 0 workouts. It just wasn’t the same, but I tried to do what I could.

I’ve signed up to the gym 8 days ago and already I’ve been there 7 times! I consider that dedication!!! The people who go there are now are very similar, I see most of the same faces at the same time, loving that we are all back working out with what we love most: heavy weights, barbells, machines, all the things we were denied. I’m already seeing changes in body, I’m much more careful about my food choices and am feeling so much better and stronger already!

I hope that you too are working out and keeping to your goals, whether that is gym, your home workouts, classes or outdoor running. Your body is your temple, and it deserves to be treated with respect.
